***** PLEASE READ THE WHOLE DESCRIPTION AS REFUNDS OF RINGS ARE NOT ACCEPTED*****
This listing is for ONE raw natural Pink Tourmaline ring electroformed in pure Copper.
Please know your ring size before ordering, rings are not resizable or refundable. Stones are about 4-6mm in size, but please keep in mind that they are natural, so will vary in exact shape, size, and color from the pictures.
Each ring is hand made beginning with the ring band, placing of the stone, and painting of the copper paint onto the gemstone. Rings are then followed by a procedure call electroforming, electroforming involves a 12-24 hour process that deposits a strong bond of copper onto the ring creating a one of a kind piece. No two rings will ever be the same, making each piece unique with it's own different plating, texture, imperfections, and outcome.
To maintain the finish as long as possible, avoid prolonged exposure to water (you can still wash your hands with the jewelry on but make sure to completely dry hands after wards), lotions, as well as harsh chemicals. The copper will oxidize and darken over time giving it a warm deep finish. This is natural and every oxidation is unique to the person who wears it and the environment in which they live. You can bring back the original sheen by gently rubbing it with a soft polish cloth that is provided with every order, an oxidation bag is also included to store your jewelry in when not wearing.
I like to leave my copper rings unsealed so that you can enjoy the healing properties provided. Greening may happen depending on the persons PH's levels. The more you wear your ring the more the copper grows with you, lessening the outcome of greening on the finger. If greening does occur it can simply be washed with soap and warm water.
*I do offer the option to have your rings sealed if REQUESTED! Please allow an additional 4-5 days before rings will ship due to the curing process. Sealing copper rings will not guarantee the prevention of greening or oxidation and over time even if rings are sealed the sealant wears away. If you purchase a ring unsealed or notice the seal to become less effective, you can simply take a clear nail polish and provide it to the areas that touches your skin to create a barrier.
